These tasks await you:
Job Purpose
- To ensure that products are manufactured with high quality, efficiently, on-time, to specification, in a cost effective and safe manner
- To ensure quality improvement in the area of materials, process, product and system
- To anticipate potential failures before occurrence
- To handle non-conformity feedback from internal and external
- To train and qualify staff and operators to conform to procedures and requirements
- Professional management of deviations
- Reduction of rework & scrap rate
- Implementation of sustainable corrective actions and preventive measures
Major Accountabilities
- Sustain product yield and work with the relevant teams to resolve quality issue of process, products
- Follow up products and process audit within TPU by both internal and external. Work with relevant to take corrective and preventive actions for non-conformities found
- Conduct audits to ensure products and processes are conformed to requirements
- Work with production to ensure all quality data will be record correctly and on time
- Accountable for product quality through reviews and releases of product transfers (PEP and P2P)
- Accountable for establish clear and standardized quality criteria for TPU (e.g.: cosmetic of products, quality requirement from customers…)
- Manage and coordinate deviations (QMS system)
- Manage and coordinate delivery, production and store locks as well as rework and scrap activities
- Contact with relevant for worldwide stock check and leading problem solving when receiving customer complain, closing report on time
- Involve in continuous learning and improvement activities and projects
- Follow up opened tasks in QMS system to ensure it is closed effetely and on time
- Preparation and reporting at daily SFM
- Other tasks as assigned by manager
Bring these qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor degree in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronic/ Mechatronics/ Quality)
- Intermediate knowledge of planning / ordering via ERP system
- English (written and spoken) is a must; Germany and other Asian language will be an advantage (i.e. Chinese)
- More than 3 years of experience in process and product quality in SMT/PCBA manufacturing environment
- Good knowledge of using quality and statistical tools for problem solving and continuous improvement
- Used to lead quality improvement project
- Good communication in English with customers, external auditors and suppliers
- Experience in making work instruction for operators
- Experience in production audit (process and product)
- Able to use A3, 8D methods to solve problem
- Able to do risk assessment for assembly manufacturing (PCBA, Box Build)
- Understand basic characteristic of material: material parts; plastic inject mod components, cable assembly, and electronic components
- Internal auditor certification is an advantage
