SENIOR LEAN CONSULTANT (BUSINESS PROCESS MANAGEMENT)
Job Purpose:
This role will be responsible managing Lean Business Process Management (BPM) initiatives within Pepperl+Fuchs including the development of improvement roadmaps and leading/ consulting on large scale, complex improvement projects along the P+F process landscape with focus on non-manufacturing areas.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support the team in the rollout of the business process management and its continuous development
- Consulting on integrating business processes into the process landscape as well as optimizing and tailoring business processes
- Responsible for conception and execution of workshops as part of process optimization projects with the involvement of relevant business functions/roles
- Involved in conception and execution of trainings on process management
- Implementation support of managers in coaching sessions
- Establish new methods and tools based on the Lean Philosophy and Business Process Management (BPM)
- Ensure Projects/Workshops/Events meet agreed targets, milestones and timelines
- Work with Global Lean Management Teams to improve the effectiveness of P+F’s Lean Management System
- Identify opportunities to enhance the Lean Management System and contribute in development of its contents (methods, tools, standards and training material, etc.)
Role Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Business Information Technology, Business Administration or Industrial Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in operational process management in an internationally operating industrial or consulting company with proven success in optimizing business processes
- Good experience with BPM methods and tools (e.g. BPMN 2.0, DMN)
- Experience with innovative BPM practices (e.g. Robotic Process Automation or Process Mining) desirable
- Experience in transferring and applying Lean methods to administrative/indirect areas of the company
- Extensive knowledge about the Lean fundamentals and methodologies as well as Change Management
- Understanding the processes and requirements of work and making sure that they deliver their intended outcomes to the customer (internal and external) on a consistent basis
- A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to deal with conflict, to improvise and handling of unclear situations
