Estimation & Proposals Engineer (Chennai)
Role Purpose:
Reporting to the Manager or Estimations & Proposals (E&P), the role is mainly responsible for independently preparing quotations, based P&ID Drawings and/ or customer’s specification.
Major Accountabilities:
- Perform validation on any incoming enquiries and also on Purchase Orders (PO)
- Generate, prepare and submit quotations based on customer’s request in a timely manner
- Provide relevant technical support to the Sales team and also Customers whenever required
- Maintain collaboration and close communication with the clients (internal/ external)
- Identify solutions as necessary to issues that may arise
- Ensure all tasks are completed and records are created as per Company’s guideline
Role Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification (Diploma/ Degree) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant working experience; particularly with Panel Builders
- Able to prepare quotations as per customer’s specification
- Knowledge in LV Switch Gear & control panel design as per IEC 61439-1 is an added advantage
- Knowledge of ‘Aramco Standards’ will be a distinct advantage
- Excellent English communication skills (writing and verbal)
- Familiar with ISO Documentation and knowledgeable in MS Office and CAD
- Analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving with high attention to detail
