Field Sales Engineer, Process Automation
Role Purpose:
Reporting to the Process Automation (PA) Regional Sales Manager in Seoul, the successful person will be responsible for implementing a region wide business plan to develop and grow the market of the product portfolio (Interface) in the Process Automation Division.
Role Responsibilities:
- Identify new business potential both with the PA components and complete solutions
- Working closely with the sales teams or distributors in the region by contributing to creating and maintaining good customer relationships and ensuring smooth sales team operations
- Ability to communicate all levels of the potential Process Automation and Explosion protection market in Korea
- Develop a thorough working knowledge of the P+F PA (Interface) and its solutions offering
- To define/develop and support the overall distributor network for PA Interface and its solutions
- Develop strong working relationships with End User and System Integrator customers in each country. AVL success for the P+F solution is a key task
- Documentation via the P+F CRM system for all above mentioned activities
- Support sales opportunities on large and international projects at proposal and execution stage with P+F Global Project Pursuit (GPP) staff and P+F area managers
- Understanding of international and local process automation standards, preferable knowledge of hazardous areas
- Self-manage all travel and customer related activities in line with a set budget
- Effectively interact with the various P+F affiliates and factories across the region to co-ordinate correct product offering and sales forecasting
Role Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical /Electronics/ Instrumentation Engineering
- Native Korean speaker with good comprehension of written, verbal and presentation skills in English
- Minimum of 5 years Sales experience in the Process Industries throughout Korea and market knowledge on electromechanical products
- Experience working with CRM System
- Knowledge and experience of process control methods and instrumentation including relevant legislation (ATEX, IECEx, Hazardous Area protection techniques and other local certification requirements within Asia
- Excellent inter-personal skills, self-motivated and results-oriented individual who is able to work well with various internal/ external stakeholders
- Personal vehicle required for customer visits (operating expenses supported by the company)
