Field Sales Engineer, Process Automation - Busan

Job Purpose:

This position is responsible for working closely with the Asia Pacific Headquarters product team to select, respond and support new sales opportunities, propose solutions to partners and customers directly if necessary and provide technical support to the users. The Technical Sales team will provide pre and post sales technical support for Process Automation products (such as Intrisic Safety 'IS' Barrier/ Human Machine Interface 'HMI'/ Purge Systems/ Foundation Fieldbus 'FF')

Major Accountabilities:

• Meeting customers in the Busan, Ulsan and Geyongnam area to build and maintain good relationships with them by identifying their requirements and proposing solutions
• Supporting distributors within the assigned areas and ensure that support is provided to them whenever needed
• Resolving technical inquiries from customers
• Conduct workshops and trainings via online/offline 
• Collaborate with product teams to provide customers with product technical inquiries 
• Participation in local product events to increase product awareness and strengthening P+F brand name
• Regular visits to the main shipbuilding companies (Hyundai, Hanwha, Samsung) to conduct research on projects 

Role Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or equivalent
• Business fluent or native-language Korean (written and spoken) and ideally English language
• A minimum of 5 years working experience in Sales and process automation field
• Self-motivated, excellent analytical skills and able to work well under pressure
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills, able to collaborate well with all levels and across organization boundaries
• Problem solving attitude and lateral thinker
• Willing to travel to the assigned areas of work to meet customers
